The Rotary Club of Calgary North has been working with other Calgary based Rotary Clubs and collaborating with community groups to support basic living needs for Ukrainian Evacuees who have come to Calgary to escape the war in Ukraine.
International Projects
Working with 4 other clubs in our district of Rotary and 5 partner clubs in Kampala, Uganda we were able to deliver a comprehensive project covering many of the basic needs of rural people in the country. The detail is included in the enclosed report.
Our club working with the Rotary Club of Guatemala Metropoli improved the classroom and bathroom facilities at this school resulting in more students having access to an education in a better environment.
The Rotary Club of Calgary North (RCCN) Project was an educational initiative in support of a child care and educational project in Manzanillo, Mexico called Casa Hogar Los Angelitos.
Calgary North Rotary has been involved in several project in the Negril area to improve educational and health for the local population. The Rotary Club of Negril has been our local partner and project management.
