Monday's meeting featured a small but boisterous crowd. President Sheila offered her usual scholarly anecdote.
Some good news provided by Bud Watson on Lawrie Fisher's status. He is alert and well living at the Colonel Belcher retirement home on Bowness Road. He has lost his driver's licence however hopes to attend meetings when he can.
George Waite is also doing well according to Paul Ramikie and Linda Pitter who visited him last week at the Fanning Centre and brought along a gift. George welcomes visitors anytime.
The business meeting was largely taken up by Coordinator David Thompson who advised it's "all systems go" for the President's Ball Saturday April 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Foothills Room at Village Park Inn. Tickets to be printed this week-cost will be $75 per person same as last year. Ron Stickley will once again hold the wine draw-drop off your wine donations at any of the next 4 meetings prior to the event. We will also be holding a live and silent auction-contact your friends and clients to solicit donations and advise David. It promises to be a fun evening so hope to see Members/partners and guests there!
Next meeting will be Monday at the usual place!
